Floralia Voorthuizen

Every year on the third Saturday of September, Voorthuizen bursts into a vibrant display of flowers and festivity! Cycle along beautiful dahlia creations, admire the decorated streets, and be amazed by the breathtaking parade floats. A musical and atmospheric procession winds through the streets, with the floats beautifully illuminated in the evening. These impressive creations, made from thousands of flowers, are crafted with great care and precision by many dedicated locals from Voorthuizen.

Throughout the entire weekend, there are various activities to enjoy. Stroll through the charming market, delight in the children’s activities, and explore the beautiful surroundings with the Dahlia cycle route. We traditionally end the day with the lively Corso party.

The parade culture is internationally recognised as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. Floralia not only offers a fantastic event but also brings the Voorthuizen community together. Come and celebrate with us!
